What’s dishing on the blogs: Homemade pasta and other goodies

This week, we’re making fresh pasta, bean stews and gluten-free cookies! Here’s what’s dishing on the blogs we follow:

The Brown Eyed Baker gave us a very helpful step-by-step tutorial on how to make fresh pasta. The Sugar Pixie also tried her hand at pasta making with Pepper Pasta. But if making pasta is not your cup of tea, the Homemade Onion Rings from Cooks and Eats are a great choice.

Moving on to more substantial meals, Jessica from How Sweet It Is served us comforting Spicy Greens and Creamy Parmesan Bean Stew, while Linda from Dinner Plan-it put a spin on the traditional beans and rice and prepared spicy Black Beans and Rice with Chunky Avocado Salsa and Crispy Plantains. Enjoy these rich and tasty recipes for the remainder of this cold weather!

On the sweet side, Sincerely Caroline baked gluten-free Better-than-Butter Cookies, Yum Yum opted for cute Baci di Dama cookies, and Katy whipped up Homemade Pecan Pie Larabars in her BakingDomesticityandAllThingsMini kitchen. It won’t be easy to keep your sweet tooth in check with these delicious options!

Finally, Yum Yum took the restaurant scene by storm and dined at Grit & Grace and Mercurio’s; D&T: in the burgh checked out Crested Duck; Bill from Three Dogs BBQ paid a visit to Franktuary; and the girls from eatPGH tried the new meatball joint in town, Sienna Mercato Emporio.

See you here next month!
