The Brown Eyed Baker published a great recipe for Oatmeal Cream Pies. Katy created crisp and chewy Chocolate Chip, Pretzel & Potato Chip Cookies in her BakingDomesticityandAllThingsMini kitchen, whereas Yum Yum made delicious and gorgeous Chocolate Hazelnut Pizzelles.
Also in the dessert category, Linda from Dinner Plan-it took a stab at healthy Elvis Protein Bars and Sincerely Caroline whipped up a Whole Grain Peanut Butter & Banana Quick Bread. Amazing sweets just in time for the holidays!
On the pizza menu, Dan from Pizza Walk with Me got familiar with The Merry Pizza Man; Chef Chuck shared a Vegetarian Cauliflower Crust Pizza recipe at Cooks and Eats, while Jessica from How Sweet It Is was smitten with this Quattro Formaggi Flatbread. A pizza-like concoction will satisfy any taste buds anytime!
And on the Pittsburgh restaurant scene, D&T: in the burgh dined at Piccolo Forno in Lawrenceville and the girls from eatPGH paid a visit to the Immaculate Conception Parish in Washington, Pa., for some tasty fish fry, pierogies, and much more.
